My Six Words

Thinking of this six word memoir did take me a while. At first, I was going another direction. I wanted to put "My hard work will pay off" but I decided to do something else. I didn't want it to be like school related. I wanted to have more fun with it so I started to think of something else. I remembered that one big custom my family and I do in our house is that when we are at the kitchen table about to eat, we turn off the television and set our phones and ipods to the side and enjoy a nice meal together. Not being on your phone nowadays is like disconnecting from the world. After "disconnecting from the world", we start to eat and talk about our days or make jokes and that's where I got the last two words as "and live." Filming it was much easier because the video is only a few seconds. I decided to record myself logging out from Facebook to mean disconnect from the world and me jumping away to mean living life. Ands that how my Vine was born! I think these words represent my life because its a thing my parents have shown me since forever. Before I got my phone, I promised my parents to not become one of those people that are like zombies looking at their phone and I've kept that promise till this day. I'm not always on my phone and I wouldn't like to be because that's not living. People nowadays live their lives on the social media that they forget how to communicate with others. I wouldn't like to be like that and I try not to. I'm not saying that I'm never on my phone, but I don't live my life on social medias. I would definitely regret missing a life experience for just being on snapchat or instagram. That's why I feel like these 6 words represent my life.
